There’s not much left of 2018! Winter Break is coming and it won’t be long before you start hearing “I’m Bored” and “There’s nothing to do”. Here is a quick and easy list of things to do in Northeast WI to keep those kids busy and create some lasting memories.
2.) Try Rollerskating! – There are Roller Rinks throughout Northeast WI.
3.) Check out a Kids Museum! These are educational, fun and spark their imaginations. Not to mention this keeps the kids busy for hours!
4.) What about a Movie? Take those kids out to see a movie on the Big Screen either during prime time or catch a matinee. (especially when we have $5 Tuesdays at Marcus Cinemas)
5.) Find a Bowling Alley and get some strikes and have some laughs!
6.) Find an Ice Skating Rink! There are plenty of either Indoor or Outdoor Rinks in our Area.
7.) Race down a hill on a sled or tube. Many Tubing hills have started making their own snow. Just call before going to make sure they are open.
8.) Skiing – Call ahead to make sure your ski hill is open and then hit the slopes.
9.) Find some fun at local kid friendly places like Badger Bouncers, Xtreme Air, Get Air, Sir Bounce Alot, Chuckee Cheese, Monkey Joe’s, Funset Blvd., Badger Sports Park and others.
10.) Learn new things at local Museums!
11.) Get a head start on spring cleaning and have the kids pick out 5 or ten toys they can donate.
12.) Make it a Crafts and Arts Week. Pinterest is Amazing!
13.) Visit the Zoo and see what the animals are doing over Winter Break!
14.) See the Stars at the Barlow Planetarium.
15.) Take in a Green Bay Gamblers Hockey Game.
16.) Nature Centers! Take a Hike, plan a scavenger hunt or bird watch!
17.) Hot Cocoa Party with all the fixin’s and invite some friends.
18.) Build a Fort and Get Cozy.
19.) Nerf Gun Battles are a standard in our house and are always Epic!
20.) See all the Amazing Aircraft at the EAA Airventure Museum and watch the kids go crazy and learn in the kids area! Be prepared to stay there for a few hours.
21.) Take those kids and Volunteer! Food Pantries, Humane Societies and so many other non profits could use a few volunteers!
22.) Indoor Pools at the local school or hotel are open usually for a small fee or go all out and hit up the Indoor Water Park at the Tundra Lodge in Green Bay!
23.) Tour the Frozen Tundra, Lambeau Field and check out the Packers Hall of Fame. #GoPackGo
24.) Find your Local YMCA and get into some fun and fitness.
25.) Let your kids Paint a masterpiece! Many of the places that offer adult painting classes, also offer kids classes.
26.) Bake, Bake, Cook! Kids love helping in the kitchen. It can be a bit messy but is so much fun and creates some great memories for those little ones.
27.) Don’t forget about the New Year’s Eve fun throughout our area, just for kids!

29.) National Railroad Museum in Green Bay is an awesome place to check out especially for all those train loving kiddos!
30.) Visit your Local Library – They have all kinds of things going on from crafts and arts to storytimes, to even showing some great movies and it’s all FREE!
