County Fairs 2018 | Northeast WI Activities

Our County Fairs are one of the best things about Summer here in Northeast WI. We wait all year for the fried foods, the carnival rides and games, to see the washed and groomed farm animals do their best and to enjoy the grandstand entertainment!

Here are some of the details on the County Fairs in our area! (listed in alphabetical order)


 

Brown County is August 15th – August 19th

1500 Ft. Howard Avenue, DePere

Hours: Wed. 12pm-11pm, Thurs. 8am-11pm, Friday-Saturday 8am-12am, Sunday 8am-6pm.

So much to do and see in only a few days.  Carnival Rides and games, the PRCA Rodeo, live music, lots of kids shows and activities, Truck Pull, Horse Pull and more!


 

Calumet County is August 31st – September 3rd “The Biggest Little Fair in Wisconsin”

Join the Calumet County Fair Labor Day Weekend as they celebrate “Fair by Day, Festival by Night.”  Filled with family entertainment and local bands the “Biggest Little Fair” in Wisconsin is sure to be fun for all ages.  Featuring some of the hottest and most unique bands and showcasing exhibits from area youth including 4-H Clubs, FFA, Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts and many other exhibitors of all ages, the fair is the place you want to be. There is a fantastic family friendly midway and appetizing fair food for everyone to enjoy.  Hope to see you all at the fair.


 

Door County is August 1st – August 5th

John Miles Fair Park, 812 N. 14th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay

Hours: Wednesday 5pm-11pm, Thur-Saturday 12pm-11pm and Sunday 12pm-8pm.

The focus of this fair is all about wholesome family fun and entertainment. This is a true rural fair with ag entertainment, competition and displays. The fairway offers rides for all ages and the food stands serve up the most delicious fare. Special entertainment includes stock car racing, demolition derby and various musical acts.

 


 

Fond du Lac County is July 18th – July 22nd

The Fond du Lac County Fair is your source for education, entertainment and family fun! Featuring a carnival full of rides and games for kids of all ages. Food to please everyone, 2 stages of music featuring rock, country and classic hits in addition to family entertainment. The Fond du Lac County Fair also features the states only AG Birthing and education center which features births of calves during the fair and interactive, educational displays about animals and AG related products. Pig, duck and goat races, a petting zoo and other 4H, FFA and animal exhibits are just a sampling of the entertainment and attractions awaiting fair-goers.

 


 

Kewaunee County is July 19th – July 22nd

This fair features live music, carnival rides and games, thousands of livestock, small animal, and 4-H displays, grandstand shows, kids entertainment and a wide variety of food and beverage offerings.  All live entertainment, Grandstand shows and unlimited rides are free with the paid daily admission charge.  Don’t miss a single moment!

Grandstand Shows all weekend include the Luxemburg Implement Farm Tractor Pull and Musical Entertainment.

 


 

Manitowoc County is August 21st – August 26th

$10 admission includes rides, grandstand shows, parking, general admission. The fair also features carnival rides, concessions, pavilion acts, and more!

 


 

Marinette County is August 23rd – August 26th

Fairgrounds Rd. in Wausaukee   715-938-4099

A weekend of family fun! Take time to enjoy the carnival rides, a variety of food, livestock barns and so much more!!

 


 

Oconto County is August 16th – August 19th

Enjoy the Livestock Barns, the exhibits, the carnival rides and games, the tractor, truck and horse pulls and dance to the live music!  Fun for everyone.

 


 

Outagamie County is July 24th – July 29th.

Free Admission to the Fair is Tuesday!  This Fair has a little bit of everything, carnival rides and games, kids entertainment, livestock barns, exhibits, great variety of food, live music, tractor pulls, demolition derby and more!

 


 

Shawano County is August 29th – September 3rd

This fair features Cosmic Bingo, Cotton Candy 5K Run, Fireworks, Free Music, Great Food, Exciting Carnival Rides, Over 10,000 exhibits and so much more! Great family fun event!

 


 

Sheboygan County is August 30th – September 3rd

Midway thrills, tractor pull, 4-H exhibits, lumberjack show, 16,000 exhibits, games and concessions, and grandstand entertainment.

 


 

Waupaca County is August 21st – August 26th

A fun and interactive fair where you will enjoy the carnival, kids activities, livestock barns and shows, the exhibits, the variety of food, tractor and truck pulls, live music and great grandstand shows!

 


 

Winnebago County is August 1st – August 5th

Sunnyview Expo Grounds, County Rd. Y in Oshkosh   920-685-3013

Hours: Opens at 10am every day.

 

This fair is all about fun, friends, family and making memories!  It features live music, carnival rides and games, livestock barns, kids activities and more.  The Grandstand events include Bull Riding, Truck/Tractor Pulls, Music by Chase Bryant and a Demolition Derby.  Fun for all ages.


 

 

If you don’t mind traveling a little, then check out Wisconsin’s State Fair in Milwaukee.  August 2nd thru 12th this year.  There is so much that happens at this fair, that you have to check out their website, pick the best day (August 7th is Family Day and tickets are cheaper) and head down to experience our state fair and all that it offers, especially their world famous cream puffs!!
