The antique vehicles will be on display Friday, June 22, from 11 AM – 3 PM at the Tundra Lodge. The public is welcome and encouraged to view the vehicles and talk with the club members. The Dodge Brothers involvement in the automobile industry goes back to Oldsmobile’s earliest years, providing engines and transmissions from their expansive machine shop. As Henry Ford was developing his first commercially successful car, John and Horace Dodge helped engineer, forge, and machine needed components. Not only were their engineering talents utilized by Ford, their shops provided approximately 60% of the parts required on the Model T. Eventually, the Dodge Brothers left their positions on the Ford Board of Directors, sold their stock to Henry Ford, and, in 1914, started manufacturing their own cars.   Though both brothers died in 1920, the Dodge Brothers Motor Cars carried on under the ownership of the two widows, and the management team that was selected by the Dodge Brothers before their untimely deaths.   A business relationship was established with the Graham Brothers in the 1920’s, whose company utilized Dodge Brothers chassis to manufacture trucks under the Graham Brothers name.

The Dodge Brothers Club was formed in 1983, and incorporated in 1986 to encourage preservation, ownership, restoration and historical research of the Dodge Brothers Motor Vehicles and the Graham Brothers Commercial Vehicles.

This year’s meet will have approximately 50 Dodge Brothers and Graham Brothers vehicles in attendance. The group will be driving their vehicles to a number of historic or manufacturing locations in the area.
