Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary
Over 5,500 animals in need of help are brought to the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary each year. One of those animals admitted to wildlife rehab was Winter the Snowy Owl. Winter was hit by a car in 2015 and suffered a permanent wing injury. Though Winter wasn’t able to be released into the wild, she is doing very well as an animal ambassador and our 14th annual Walk for Wildlife mascot!
Get close with Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary Animal Ambassadors! See a hawk released back to the wild at the welcome at 8:15am! Grab some free refreshments available before and after the walk. And don’t miss our Wildlife Fun Zone with artifacts, crafts, and face painting! We will also be holding a raffle, so stay tuned to learn about prizes donated by our generous sponsors! Participants may choose to raise more money for R-PAWS with pledges.
