Unison Credit Union’s Splish Splash Bash!

Unison Credit Union’s Splish Splash Bash!

Nothing says summer quite like cooling off by the water with friends and family. That’s why Unison Credit Union’s Splish Splash Bash is bringing family-friendly fun to the Fox Valley and Green Bay area this July.

Through new and returning family-focused events at local pools and parks across Northeast Wisconsin, Unison is showing appreciation to its communities while welcoming the long-awaited swimming season. The month-long occasion celebrates summer through local special events at four popular spots:

🏊Ashwaubomay Lake in Ashwaubenon

🏊Doyle Pool in Little Chute

🏊Kaukauna Municipal Pool in Kaukauna

🏊Plamann Lake in Grand Chute

Unison’s Splish Splash Bash was a success last summer, and they are excited to bring back the fun. So, help us get back into the “swim” of things, mark your calendars, grab your friends and we’ll see you at these splash-tastic events!

Unison is also hosting its own summer giveaway at each of the events. One lucky winner will receive a gift card to a local ice cream shop, a 5-foot tall Jenga® GIANT™ set and a Unison swag bag! How great is that?!

Unison’s Splish Splash Bash events include:

🏊   July 9 at Ashwaubomay Lake in Ashwaubenon: New this year, the fun is coming to Ashwaubenon for the Ashwaubomay Lake Luau Party Sponsored by Unison Credit Union. Guests can participate in a variety of themed games, win prizes throughout the day, relax on the sandy shore or take a swim in the lake. The event runs from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. with games running approximately every hour.

🏊   July 12 at Doyle Pool in Little Chute: During this nighttime swim event, Unison is partnering with Doyle Pool to show the community-voted favorite, “How to Train Your Dragon 3,” for a fun “dive-in” movie. Starting at 6:30 p.m., the pool is offering free pool admission for the evening and activities. The movie begins at dusk and attendees will receive free popcorn during the showing.

🏊   July 17 at Kaukauna Municipal Pool in Kaukauna: Unison is ready to have a luau-filled time at the Kaukauna Municipal Pool from 1-5 p.m. The event includes an on-site DJ as well as dance instructors providing Hawaiian dance lessons throughout the day. The pool is featuring Unison’s inflatable obstacle course with other Hawaiian-themed games and activities. Get there early – Unison is handing out concession vouchers!

The water equipment is free to use from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and includes a brief safety lesson before guests hit the water. Unison is also covering admission for the first 150 people. Woo-hoo!

Northeast WI Strawberry Pickin’ Farms

Northeast WI Strawberry Pickin’ Farms

One of my favorite things about summer is the fresh fruit, especially the berries. Picking your own is even sweeter although many farms still have a few weeks of growing yet to do before the fruit is ‘berry’ ripe for the picking. 🍓 Many of these places are a short car ride away for a few hours of pickin’ and great family bonding.

**Please note that many of these pick-your-own farm experiences are dependent on fruit availability and the weather, so be sure to call ahead.
